Pastor Anthony Nicholson Associate Pastor of New Life Worship Center in Indianapolis, IN, serving under the leadership of John F. Ramsey, Senior Pastor. He also serves as Ministry Coordinator and Pastor of Counseling and Assimilation. Pastor Nicholson currently oversees more than thirty ministries and coordinates around twenty outreach ministries, serviced throughout Indianapolis, IN and the surrounding area. His pastoral services include counseling in the areas of pre-marital, marital, singles, and private consultation. Pastor Nicholson is a native of Syracuse, NY.
He dedicated his life to Christ in 1995 and accepted his call to ministry approximately a year later in 1996. Pastor Nicholson has often stated that it is his “life experiences” that prepared him for a life of “reaching lost souls” through evangelism and outreach ministries. Due to his gift in evangelism, Pastor Nicholson has a wealth of experience in outreach missions. He also serves as a chaplain for the Madison & Marion County Sheriff Departments also various prison programs, and homeless shelter chapels .He has coordinated outreach projects for homeless and nursing home ministries. He is also a part of the Clergy 40. He has served as a mentor and role model for boys’ and girls’ juvenile community and prison programs, as well as privately counseling men in various areas of life challenges. He has organized and facilitated several empowerment and leadership training seminars and men’s fellowships, for which he travels across the United States extensively.
Pastor Nicholson served six years in the United States Army and attended Pike Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, CO. He was ordained to the ministry in the year 2000, and he has recently established an outreach ministry called Harvest Testimony Ministry, which trains, equips, and empowers individuals in discipleship, mainly through sound teaching and preaching of the Word of God. He continues to develop in ministry through the pursuit of higher education and specialized training programs and workshops.
He has been married for more than thirty years to his “life” bride Judy, and he is the father of three children, who themselves have several children of their own. A devoted sports fan and an avid traveler, Pastor Nicholson enjoys time with his family above all else.
Pastor Nicholson has appeared in Who’s Who in America, and he has received the Keeper of the Village Award, an award of recognition from the Marion County Sheriff Office, and the Appreciation of Leadership Award. In addition, he has been recognized by the Indiana Sheriff’s Chaplaincy Conference Advisory Board as Vice President, he serves on the Pastoral Accountability Board for Spoken Word Fellowship Church in Chicago, Illinois.
